Hi there,
I have my property for sale here in the South of France with a local agency, but I maximise the chance of my selling the house by placing an advert on the USA/Canadian property market. In the UK I have found French magazines that deal with property sales, and I’m going to place an ad with them too, but I want to place adds with French magazines in the USA/Canada that deal with property, or websites…..could anybody advise me with which way to go about this? Thanks in advance

zillow.com and other web sites will give you the estimate of your property value. However, if you have built a secondary structure on you property, how do you account for this value. Do you simply add the square footage of the structure to the main house and calculate the new value based on the average $/square ft? I think it should be more since it is a separate structure. My structure, for instance has electricity, plumbing, a bathroom, heat, air conditioning etc… and is 14′ X 34′ with french doors two windows, and a fireplace.

My family owns a house located in the French countryside about an hour from Paris. Does anyone know an agency where I could sell this property? I am looking in particular for an agency specialised in houses with a unique style (think Frank Lloyd Wright)? All tips welcome!

I am trying to find out who owns a specific property in France (I have the full address). I know the process is straightforward in the UK with a Land Registry search, but does anyone know how this information is obtained in France. Thanks in advance

Hi
Wonder if any one can assist. Have a couple of friends who are quite desperate to relocate back home due to various factors. They are not having any luck with the Charente agents who seem to have a vast amount of properties on their books.
To help l have uploaded lots of photographs onto my own web site to assist in marketing at www.travel-france.co.uk. But can anyone suggest anything that may be able to kick start their potential viewings.

Assignats = the currency in France during the French Revolution, obtained by buying and selling church property at first
If you were valuing the assignats like a stock market, when would this stock market be at it’s highest? (Before Napoleon, etc.)
